Collecting your ATV
Check-out is the ATV actually leaving. By this point everything else should be done, and what is left happens at the machine.
What has to be finished first
- The signed agreement.
- The rental payment — charged at booking if you reserved, held if you walked up.
- The deposit hold.
- Any safety video assigned to that ATV, watched by you in the iOS app.
- Every additional driver's own licence and signature.
- The checkout photos, which you take there and then.
The photos
Photograph the machine before you ride. This is the record of the condition you received it in, and it is the thing that answers a later question about a mark you did not make. See photos at checkout and return.
If something is blocked
The rental's page lists every step and marks what is outstanding, so it will tell you which one is holding things up, and what it is waiting on. The usual answer at this point is an additional driver who has not finished verifying or signing.
Then ride
Once the photos are in and nothing is outstanding, check out — the rental becomes active and the ATV is yours until the return time. It is a deliberate step, not something that happens on its own when the last photo lands.
The key lives in a keybox, and your code for it is issued at check-out. It appears on your rental in the app and in the confirmation we send. See getting into the keybox.
When you are done, see returning the ATV.
