Creating an account

Registering asks for four things: your full legal name, your email address, a mobile number, and a password.

The password has to be at least 8 characters, with an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter and a digit.

You can also sign in with Google or Apple instead, in which case there is no password on our side to begin with. If you later want one, set it from Profile → Change Password in the app.

If you were invited

Do not register. If someone added you to their rental, or a booking was made for you, an account already exists and the invitation email is how you finish setting it up.

Registering with the address you were invited on will simply fail, with a message that does not explain much. Registering with a different address makes a second account, and the rental will not be on it.

One account each

Do not register on someone else's behalf. If two people are riding and both will drive, add them to the rental instead — that sends them their own invitation, and their own account. See riding with additional drivers.

What comes next

Registering gets you an account, not a rental. Before you can book you will need your licence verified, and before you ride, the agreement signed among other things — see what a rental needs.

Both to hold an account and to ride. Age is checked as part of licence verification, so this is not a box you tick.
